I am registered for my PMP in August this year. Are these changes likely to affect me? I am reading the fifth edition book of the PMBOK guide and the eighth edition of Rita's book

I got my answer by reading the article . " If you are taking your exam before January 1, 2018, you should continue to study from and prepare for your examination using the Fifth Edition of the PMBOK® Guide along with the examination content outline PMI makes available."

Hi Anupam,

thanks for sharing the source, but i was a bit disappointed, to be honest.
"A deep dive into ... " ... well i have expected a lot more since "a deep dive" was promised.

If you do have a look into my related blog post here at pm.com, several weeks/months ago, then i would say this do provide even more details regarding the upcoming changes.

Please do not get me wrong, i do not want to offense you, but i have just expected something different under " a deep dive ...".

Regards,

Markus

No worries Markus. Those are not my views, I only shared the article.

As you see, there is lot of confusion and doubts about the changes, different authors have different views and opinions about it. You can post your comments to the author at the original source.

Cheers!!
