What Pukka Pad would add to manage project over other trade of paper note pad?

Since we are discussing a notebook, I prefer Moleskin. Call me a notebook snob :)
I find it great to jot down tasks, ideas, quick diagrams, pictures, notes, thoughts, etc. I'm a technology guy, but still find writing in a notebook to better get the creative juices flowing - and use a pencil - but maybe that will be another thread :)

.... so does a notebook help me manage projects? Sure. Easier? I guess that would be subjective.

Henry, tell us your story.

I like Moleskine too, but sincerely they are pricey.

For me, it makes it easier to document important information. It contains a template for common data, a label to write down the project title in case you are handling many projects at the same time, a pocket to put important documents ... in Addition, it's more confortable than using a random booklet.
I suggest to google it. It's interesting...

Hi Henry,

It would depend on how large your projects are, and how collaborative your working environment is.

Personally, as soon as I print something then it’s generally out of date or superseded, so for this reason I never bother carrying around hard copies of project documentation any more.

Because most projects have a repository where I can readily access pertinent information - and because I never seem to be more than a metre away from my laptop - I tend to manage my own day-to-day tasks using a OneNote Notebook which hyperlinks out to the latest data and status snapshots.

No matter how hard you try, you can never carry round all the information you’ll need on a large-scale project.

Regards,

Darren Kosa

I tend to work electronically but if I need to use a notepad then it's whatever notepad i have for that project. PUKKA are good but I don't like the dividers as i tend to use them up too quickly

Usually, I work electronically, but I always have a small notepad on my desk.
