You've probably heard the quote "Growth and comfort do not coexist." What new things are you going to try in 2017 to stretch yourself personally and professionally?

I'm taking lots of steps:
Going to write/publish a new book 2017/2018. Co-authoring several books already that will be published this year!
Putting myself in the way of many opportunities each week/month in person, online and virtually to wide audiences. It's been life changing so far and it just February.
Jumped out of a plane...well a simulation at least at iFly. Try it!
Took my first ride on Tower of Terror with my family; it was amazing, scary and most of all I didn't get sick after all. (my fear)

Any other stories to celebrate?
Another book! wow that's very challenging. Congrats!

From my end, I am going to:

1- Take my RMP & SP Certifications.
2- Take my career to the next level.
3- Go for a vacation to an adventerous place (Can't disclose now).
4- Other Things that are somehow personal.

I am stepping out of my comfort zone and you are right Naomi: Growth & Comfort do not coesxist.
Rami,

1 - Good Luck with the certifications. Keep us posted about your experience with those ones!

Continue growing, but don't forget this community. :)

Hello Naomi,
Complacency as you would call, comfort differently is a way of lettings go on their own and manage exceptions as and when they occur, this indirectly would mean operations. But you might appreciate that an innovator can be complacent only in discovering new things, paths and for that innovator could be you, could be me, could be anyone.
What I am trying to say here is that its a constant endeavour of modern management to avhieve a wholesome growth, meaning growth in all the areas, so keeping this philosophy in mind, if you are working in some company you are by design on a growth path, snd hence agile.

I in my endeavour to switch a career of my comfort to full professional project management, where I am not subjected to IT, secondly, I like open other channels business in order to fulfill other personal ambitions..
Great, Satish. Many times thinking through your journey helps define your pathways. Many small steps add up to big accomplishments.

I aspire to a higher volunteer board position and finding more projects that inspire passion in me.
Liana:
Great to hear you are stepping up to volunteer. Your will find that you can gain new skill sets, get some reverse mentoring in the process and increase your network of supportive contacts.
