You've probably heard the quote "Growth and comfort do not coexist." What new things are you going to try in 2017 to stretch yourself personally and professionally?

Rami:
Wonderful, you've set big lofty goals and including getting out of your comfort zone and traveling. Kudos.
Thanks Naomi ... I always follow a rule of thumb: Go Big or Go Home :D

Good luck with your plans.

I did it, one step ahead!

One of my new years' resolutions was, I want to do my first speech in the United States. The opportunity appeared in my chapter and last week I did my first speech in English here, in USA...about 130 attendees.

Was an amazing experience, I'm preparing a blog entry about it!
That is fantastic. Well done!

I am stepping out of my comfort zone by networking more and by pursuing my passion for helping other project managers become their best selves. I am writing a book and am also surveying project managers about their perspective on employee engagement.
It is all pretty nerve wracking and at the same time feels good. Once the book is written I will be going out there to find a really challenging meaningful program to manage where I can implement the techniques I have learned in an environment where it will not be such an uphill struggle!

Agreed. Comfort creates complacency. As for myself, looking to continue my story and increase the value I can offer.

For me, I want to get back into client facing roles this year. Move up the hierarchy in the thought process and look at transformation programs more holistically rather than project/program level.

Hopefully this will increase my area of influence and stretch me.

Health is second on my list - want to start running and this time in more disciplined way ? Fingers crossed.
