I'm interested to hear experiences using this MS Project add-on to run Monte Carlo simulations. Did the exercise add value, provide more informed guidance, trigger more proactive risk management? What problems were encountered in implementation and roll out?

I did not know that you can perform simulations using MS Project.. can you share where and how to integrate add-on like Monte Carlo? Thank you - RJ

Risk+ is a program sold by CS Solutions (@ CS-solutions.com)for about U$800. Upon installation, it embeds in the toolbar of MS project and is activated from within MS project. They have a demo on their website, and I heard about it from a frequent user at a conference. I haven't used it myself. I'd like to hear from users whether it is straightforward to implement/use and whether the tool's value is sufficient that it continues to be used past the initial implementation push.

Risk is no longer supported by MS Project 2010 and later. We have a MS Project Addin that replaces Risk as part of our project risk analysis and management software suite RiskyProject www.riskyproject.com
