ups, nop...but that's a good idea. We use to buy breakfast or lunch for all the team.

Thank you Vincent for the tip, maybe next company or project that I find I'll do like that.
I even heard of case where it is given to a dislike cause so not to motivate swearing!

I assume by favorite you mean that one rule that is consistently repeated at each meeting - that would be that each person is responsible for taking note of action items attributed to them during the meeting and not wait on distributed meeting notes.

Adding to all previous Interesting replies, we always focus that everyone should come fully prepared on meeting agenda Items, which required to be circulated earlier/ or discussed & agreed. The readiness should include all previous history documents & drawings as per agenda items.

A few thoughts:

Have an agenda.
Arrive in time for the start, not at the start
As organiser, don't be afraid to take off-piste discussions, offline
No Laptops/Phones
Minutes!
