Good question. You can apply Agile methodologies to construction projects where some functionality can be delivered before the entire project is complete. For example, you can build a 100 km road using sprints, and at the end of each sprint you'll deliver 5 km of paved and lined road that people can use.
Agile methodologies can't be applied to projects where the entire project must be completed before the deliverable can be used. In the case of a swimming pool, for example, the entire pool must be built and filled before anyone can use it.

Construction can be done in an Agile way.
There are some limits but you could deliver part of a building while completing other level.
For example you could deliver the parking levels, an continu the shopping area. Then deliver shopping level, to continu with offices level.
Some part can't be change once some work is done, but you could be Agile in the finishing!

Agile methodology is a practical way of breaking down the work and even perform separate meetings depending on the needs. For example, procurement can be segregated by section, planning can also be broken down to the point in which you can have a master plan then the smaller parts and assigned them to to different PM's or leaders. All PM's or leaders can report back to you in which ever way works better for your business. Once again thank you for making me think out of the box.

This is a great question. I have not heard of Agile being implemented on anything except IT and Engineering related projects.
