There are many examples, search for PPM dashboard.

You have to make sure what leadership wants / needs to see and this may differ over time. So you probably have a large set of project attributes of which you only shown those of interest. Some of them are quite static (like project name, approved budget), some need frequent (weekly?) update.

Leadership may ask you about details during your presentation and then a drilldown (doubleclick) is helpful.

You may start with a simple excel sheet and end up with an expensive PPM tool. Depending on your control needs.
