Dear Robin, those are all very good BPM solutions. Have you looked at Hyperion or Geac? Without knowing more of your business and technology environment it is a bit difficult to make a call on the “best BPM package for you. I would start with a small list of solutions, say the three you are already familiar with, and ask the vendors for a high-level demonstration, a general information document, and three references. I would try to talk to their references prior to the RFP process as they will have gone through, already, what you are about to go through. They can provide you with insight on the vendors that they looked at, how they scored, and what would they have done differently in the BPM selection process if they had it to do over again. From there, you can start your formal RFP process. Good luck. – Mark Perry, VP of Customer Care, BOT International Saving Changes...

Dear Mark, Thanks for your reply. To date we've had around 13 different high level demos from vendors, most of them with no prior installation experience here in Dubai or the hospitality industry. What I really need to do now is to prepare a scoring sheet based strongly on functionality. Can anybody help me with a proven template for the same. Thanks Saving Changes...

Hi Robin, have you had a chance read the BPM.NET BPM Software Buyers Guide and the BPM Consulting Guide? The BPM buyers guide is a 38 page guide that provides a little commentary and scores vendors on OLAP, Report & Query, ETL, Analytics, Budgeting, Consolidation, Metrics, Portal/Dashboard, Global Support, and Reference Base. The link to the BPM.NET software buyers guide report is:
The BPM Consulting Guide is a 6 page report that provides information on BPM Management Consultants, Implementation Consultants, and BPM Project Management consultants. The link to the BPM.NET consulting report is:

It sounds like you have all well in hand. In addition to your functionality scoring, you might want to consider the BPM vendor consolidation as well as the ERP shift from reselling 3rd party products to developing and delivering their own BPM components.
You might find it helpful to have a discussion with a BPM vendor selection consulting firm like BPM Partners. Hope this helps and good luck! -- Mark Perry, VP of Customer Care, BOT International Saving Changes...
