Hi,
I have a master project plan with many sub projects. The resources are allocated on many of these sub projects. EG day one - sub-project A, Day 2 & 3 sub project B etc.

What I hear is that my engineers each want some sort of individual gantt chart to see what they should be working on each day without viewing an MS .mpp file.

Is there a way of providing this from MS project to some sort of Web app and has anyone had success with this method.

Any other suggested methods would also be thankfully received!

Thx

One thing about MS Project is that there are many ways to get the data out. I've had success in the past with simply creating a .gif using the “copy picture” method (the camera icon in the tool bar). Gif files can be used in many applications, web or otherwise… even an e-mail. I’ve also quickly created customized individual views using Autofilter and then copied and pasted the task data into a spreadsheet, and handed that to the task owners. Things transport fairly nicely between Project and Excel. It sounds like you might be a candidate for using MS Project Server. Individuals can log in and see just their tasks, just their Gantt, or they can look at the entire plan. It’s very flexible. (once you get it set up… a whole different issue). I’m sure others will have more ideas as well. Rich
