I think there should be more reflected in initiation or even prior to initiation...

Great discussion but please keep in mind that in Q4 2017 PMI will be publishing PMI's Guide to Business Analysis (Includes The Standard for Business Analysis)! This standard and guide is integrated with the PMBOK and other PMI Foundational Standards as well as Agile.
