PBA Vs ACP

I am thinking of pursuing a new certification from PMI. Not able to decide which one to go for. Please help me on how do I evaluate between the PBA or ACP certification.

I can help you to evaluate except I will write about I do when I started the initiative to get a new certification. As you can see I own both. I started that type of initiatives after evaluation future market demmands. But it is an estimation so there is an amount of risk. Both are totally different. The difference is in the focus itself.

Aejaz, I have explored your projectmanagement.com profile, since you mainly belongs to project management, I advise PBA first. There are many reasons for it: • In a project, project managment and business analysis are the complementary activities. • There is another reason for doing PMI-PBA after your PMP: PMI is offering $250 off the exam fee if you submit your application and pay before May 31. Once your application has been approved, you have 1 year to write. Only applicable for first-time PMI-PBA exams and on computer-based tests. In case you plan for PBA, please act fast as time is running.
