Dear all,

after having applied for the PMP exam I have been selected for the audit and I have sent all the required documentation.
Last week I have received the communication from PMP that the process has been closed and considered “Failed No Fault” due to lack of detailed description of how the undersigned directed projects submitted.

Please find below the communication received by PMI:
The project management experience that you have listed on your application does not meet these requirements, because in one or more of your projects there were the following issues:
· Your project management work experience descriptions do not align with the five key process areas of project management (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling and closing) and we are unable to determine how you lead and directed the projects as detailed in the PMP Exam Content Outline(see link below) and the PMBOK Guide 5th edition section 3.2.
· The deliverables you documented do not indicate how you lead and directed in all five process groups (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling and closing) across all your projects submitted on the application as detailed in the PMP Exam Content Outline(see link below) and the PMBOK Guide 5th edition section 3.2.
Because your application does not meet the requirements, we are unable to proceed with the audit at this time. Your application and audit have been closed and “Failed No Fault”. If you wish to submit a new application, you may do so at any time. A request for a refund of your application fee will be requested as detailed in the Refund Policy on page 13 of the PMP® Handbook(see link below). Hi Christian,

i have reviewed your descriptions now and from my perspective they look good and plausible.
But that is no guarantee like you may know. I am not a PMI employee and i do also not know what exactly they are looking for.
But if you have considered all the guidelines given before (and it seems that you have do so) this should work out.

I would give it a try. Please let us know how it went.

Regards,

Markus
