I would like to share my innovative approach to achieving project success which is celebrating milestones as well as personal events with my project team.

In the mornings, at the start of day, we usually do what we call a mind racking session which enables every one on the team air their views or share ideas which they may have.

I have also found a way to recompose my scope documents into literary pieces that the team can recite. I have these posted on site and on the walls in the PMO. Good Luck Kaustubh.

I like the approach to vetting out ideas and thoughts within a safe and conducive team environment. People should feel free to share ideas even if they are not perfected. I'm a firm believer in getting things on the table for the purpose of discussing and expanding upon - to get to that final innovative idea.

I emphasize transparency on my projects by printing out the project’s network diagram and posting it on a hallway wall for all to view. This increases people’s enthusiasm by showing them the project is planned out from beginning to end, and it allows them to understand the relevance of their particular tasks in the project.

I created and use a simple project assurance process which serves two functions: assesses the health of a project at specific milestones but more importantly helps a project manager learn through focusing on prevention versus inspection.

We have a monthly achievements chart on the wall. we use a whiteboard marker

We include things like "Business process approved, contract signed off , Implementation Commenced etc ....."

Anyone in any department that walks past can see what the Project Management Team has achieved this month in their projects
