I never had a conflict with my PM or boss.
However, I am involved in resolving some conflicts between the team members. Usually, those are resolved in the interest of project and organization.

In my opinion the best way to resolve a conflict is dialogue and make clear the inconveniences presented, sometimes easier than we think.

In my opinion, if we go with data and relevant justification, we can resolve the conflicts. Sometimes it is very challenging. If it happens very often then its worth step back and analyse the cause by comparing with similar instances in the past. Improving ways of working, frequent catchups(weekly basis), sharing success stories with your boss might help. Saving Changes...

The way to deal with conflicts is a matter of organizational culture. Is the Style variable inside business architecture models like Tom Peter`s Seves S model. Unfortunatelly there is not receipt. Saving Changes...
Conflicts with superiors are one fo the most challenging situations that one may face in the corporate world. At the end, one remains in a position if he identifies with the company, its culture and has a good relationship with his/her boss.
If you had an issue with your boss, the best way is to be open about it and have a face-to-face communication. As long as you remain factual and act in the best interest of your organization, your boss will realize that. If the person is a narcissist or not willing to compromise with you, then I strongly suggest moving to another department in the company. If that is not possible, the last option is to "move on". In the long run, you will be better off working for someone else. Saving Changes...

My 1-cent advice, you should always strive to be professional at all times and support your boss. Your difference of opinion shouldn't create a negative atmosphere or a hint of bad relationship at all. If your idea is not adopted and the project fails, it is a lesson learned. Next time your contriution will be taken more seriously, if not you can always get another job where you will be valued more.
I think conflicts occur because of clashing egos, if you think you are right and your boss also thinks he/she is right, who is right? The possibility that the project can succeed without your idea being adopted should be celebrated, 'there are more ways than one to skin a cat'. As long as the project succeeds, i would be less inclined to have my way at all times.
In your own words, when you refer to someone as boss, then you as a team member need to respect that it's his/her call on most issues. Your job as a team member is to support your boss and make him/her look good. If it is not your call to make, provide your piece and move on. If your opinion is right and your "boss" decides not to go with your idea, take it in stride, you get paid either way.
As long as you are not forced into breaking any laws, i doubt it will be the end of the world. Say your piece and move along! Good luck Saving Changes...
I think conflict may occur or may not be in any project. First thing we need to keep in mind is don't take anything personal there. Better communication is the first step can resolve any type of conflicts to an extend. Another important thing, sometimes conflicts are occurring where the lack of responsibilities, If you divide and give the responsibilities equally or together can solve some major part of the conflicts. !! Best of luck! Saving Changes...
