Saving Favorite Content

If you look under your account section, you'll see a Favorites section.

Seemingly, at one point, there was the ability to save favorites, but it seems that is no longer an option. I certainly can't speak for everyone else, but I would find it a great addition to this community to have the ability to save content in a favorites section on our profile. Would even be interesting tot have that part of ones network activity feed and viewable in their profile.

So, two questions:
1. Are you you favor of having the ability to save your favorite content as described above?
2. How do you save your favorite content now?

1. Yes! : )
2. I use 'Pocket' as it is as cross-browser extension, also available on mobile. Simple to use with the ability to add tags to keep content organized.
Another option would be instapaper, but I already have a system with Pocket.

Hi Andrew,

I often use 'favorites' to save webinars, articles, etc. It allows me to quickly navigate to my favorite items in future. I believe its great utility to have, and am in favor of it.

To add items to favorites, use the 'Share' button. When you click on it you get a pop up that has an option 'Add to my favorites'.

Hope this helps!

Has that always been there? If so, then call me embarrassed : \

And if so, thank you! : )

Even so, would still suggest incorporating the Favorites experience more into the social aspect of the community, exposing in user's profiles and highlighting new additions in the network activity stream. May an additional side panel on the home page of trending favorites.

I still cannot believe I missed that. Thank you Anupam.

Andrew to me, it is more a demonstration that the UX on the site need to be revisited.

Many options are not obvious.

That's correct, for discussions is easy to keep the track because I use to subscribe to the post. For blogs, follow this link with great information
