For what roles besides project manager are project management skills and the PMP credential highly sought-after?

Thank you, Deepesh! I appreciate your reply.

Others, would you add any positions to Deepesh's list?

Also I would say for government contracting in general, it's good to have PMP.

I like that you're looking for positive examples.
I usually find more negative examples from poorly designed job postings. PMI has done a great job of marketing the PMP and proving the value of it, but now it pops up in unexpected places like administrative assistants. (PM skills would certainly be a plus, but I like to pretend that project managers have developed a few skills beyond entry-level secretaries.)

A few weeks ago I shared a "Project Manager" job posting that required a PMP, and it was actually looking for Uber drivers.

I am aware that some individuals in Marketing & Sales department are receiving training in project management, so I'd assume that a PMP certification would also be valued in these roles.
Whenever high values objectives are required, a good PMP is always a benefits for any company.

I've seen PMP listed as a preferred qualification for job roles in innovations (Director, innovation, Strategy Manager, innovation, etc).

There are two non certificate areas you might thinks about. 1. being published and 2. continuously updating of knowledge and skills thru continuing education programs.
