As a project manager, I believe that risk management is very crucial in order to deliver the project within budget & within schedule as per the required quality.

PMI-RMP gives you an in-depth view of CH 11 (Risk Management) in the PMBOK & shows its strong relationship with CH 10 (Communication Management) & CH 13 (Stakeholder Management).

In short, it helps you to deal with risks (Opportunity or Threats) proactively.
