What are the Benefits and drawbacks of global teams?

Very, very interesting because there are pros and cons of this common type of structure... that could effective yet needs to be carefully handled...

Benefits:
- can acquire great talent from different regions
- increased productivity
- could be economic
Drawbacks:
- communication gap
- cultural and collaboration challenges

Good -
1. You Get "global" solutions of same problems. So you get to choose between differently available solutions of a problem from your projects Issue and Log register.

2. Cost savings as now you have local resource available to do same tasks

3. there are many more but it really depends on the context the question is being asked?

Flip side of it - your monitoring control function might need to be kind of robust
