In the past few months, I've read many books on project management. However, I'm still not sure how can I calculate the PDU's earned especially with this new talent triangle criteria.
Can one elaborate on reporting such PDU's by giving an example ? Saving Changes...

Thank you for sharing this dear Andrew.
I've read through this handbook earlier. However, my confusion is on how to distribute the PDU's as per the talent triangle.
It took me 20 hours of reading. will it be all Technical ? or I can distribute it between Technical, Leadership & Strategic ? Saving Changes...

Thanks for clarifying Adnan, I misunderstood.
From my understanding, you can split across different areas of the triangle. Fill out the respective PDU Reporting form as needed, identifying the correct talent triangle areas, with additional information to support it in the description section.
Now, what I am not sure about is how do you break up the content across the 3 areas of the talent triangle? My guess, is your best professional guess. I'll assume it will be audited to ensure the reporting is accurate.
I believe the max is 30 PDU's for self-directed learning - such as reading.

As I tried to claim PDU's from the previously mentioned book, I decided to give the book 10 PDU's only in Technical for both PMP & RMP (RMP only has Technical part).
The result was that the 10 PDU's were approved only for RMP & rejected (or suspended maybe) for PMP.
The reason for suspension was that minimum requirements for Leadership was not fulfilled.
Adnan, Your question is very good, for many reasons. First we don't read at the same speed, distinction event greater for not native English.
Major book should have a determined PDUs and now should include the split from Technical, leadership and strategic.

I believe it is very subjective the way it is right now.
It has to be more objective. Maybe by the number of pages for example.

I just get the book "The Leadership Challenge: How To Make Extraordinary Things Happen In Organizations" and I search on google the name with the acronym "PDU" and I find this web page :
https://www.pmiwdc.org/index.php/2016/09/m...-park-book-club There is instruction from PMI of how many PDU we can claim with this book.
Maybe try to do the same thing with yours Saving Changes...

Think its a good one to refer CCR Handbook. 1 Hr of learning effort is equivalent to 1 PDU. Saving Changes...
