Can someone help me what is different between Free Slack and Total Slack?

Can someone help me what is different between Free Slack and Total Slack?

In simple terms, think of this way
Free Float- It is the time by how much it can be delayed before the subsequent task is not impacted, meaning the subsequent task is not delayed until this time gap.
Total Float- It is the time by how much it can be delayed before the project completion date is not impacted, meaning the project is not delayed.

In a project schedule / network diagram , the amount of time that an activity can be delayed without delaying the project completion date.

Free float is the amount of time that an activity can be delayed without delaying the early start of its successor activity.
