What impact does Sarbanes-Oxley have on project management? Is this a management issue or should project managers need to know this too? Are there any liabilities that a PM now faces on account of Sarbanes-Oxley?

Dear Anonymous, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) does have an impact on project management for those organizations required to comply. Copy and paste into your browser the link below for a brief overview. http://www.botinternational.com/sarbanes_oxley_it_process.htm SOX is both a management issue as well as an issue for PMs to be aware of. Liabilities are at the CEO/CFO level. Hope this helps. -- Mark Perry, VP of Customer Care, BOT International
