One way to deal with such people is to talk to them privately. Their ego will likely be damaged by this, but far less than if you corrected them in public.

Is not about what you believe. How you determine that some people have not all needed to take a conclusion? That is the point. Remember: reality is a subjective matter. You have to transform it into objective ones.

Use retrospection and feedback - Take a most recent example and ask privately what thought process drives him/ her to such conclusion. Listen attentively - may be he/ she is right from their perspective. If you do have additional information that can change the opinion, add to the knowledge that person has and then ask for evaluation once again. It could be that person may not have complete information and based on that incomplete details derives conclusion. If the person lacks experience and knowledge, then it is different discussion altogether.

Leadership and empowerment - help to fill the gap. Look at Sergio's response - its short, but has great meaning.

Collect some data inputs and provide feedback to the person privately. It will help him/her understand the mistakes and will take care accordingly.
