One lesson learned early in my professional career is that you don't get unless you ask. A core issue that I have with my current organization is that there are zero professional growth or development programs offered. I'm a senior operations leader, that utilizes project management on many levels within my organization. Focused primarily on critical risk assessments, process mapping (cross departmental alignment), workflow identification and organizational change management strategies. However, despite the request of a more beveled education surrounding experience, my company turns a blind eye to development. I'm seeking a mentor that is willing to invest in my future as a leader and agent of change. Are there any resources or advice surrounding this ask? Saving Changes...

I agree that it's worth looking outside your organisation. Professional groups are a good start. I hope you find someone who is a good fit. Saving Changes...

Thank you everyone. I wish my local chapter was/is as active and open to mentoring as you are. I have actually ended my chapter membership due to zero response from anyone involved. It was pretty disheartening to reach out, humbly and receive no communication whatsoever.
It has been a consistent struggle to practice PM within my own organization. Leadership lacks the understanding to the specificity of how truly involved project management is to our organization... which is evident in the numerous failures that occur due to poor planning and hasty execution. I'm open with sharing this (which professionally, I would normally not do) in a forum where I am actively reaching out for expertise to grow.
Despite the lack of holistic understanding of how important project management is to our day to day and future infrastructure, I continue, as a PM practitioner, to exercise the education I'm putting myself through. I am hoping to find a setting where a more narrowed and supported culture can be provided to grow my abilities in project management and leadership. Saving Changes...

I guess I'm fortunate that my company is great about mentoring. I've also been fortunate to have a few jobs where I had great bosses. But I feel your pain too, I wasn't long at the companies that didn't have mentoring opportunities as advancement seemed to be limited in those places as well. Saving Changes...
