Hawazin, I am in the PMI-PBA business analysis training. For more info what all it includes and how it differs from other popular Business Analysis certificates i.e. CBAP, I recommend to go through the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgZi0sHytD0

Certification will not help you to be a Business Analyst. I was part of the group that created all related to the profession first with the IIBA and now working with the PMI (in fact I worked with the PMI from year 2000 on this). But I have to put "my hands on the mud" in lot of initiatives around the world. You have to split things in two principal components: the business analyst work path and the tools she/he can use. About the first one take a look to PMI´s Practical Guide for Business Analysis. Is the best source mainly because it will help to understand how the business analyst performs into an environment where the project manager is present too. About tools, take a look to the book "Business Analysis Techniques: 72 Essential Tools For Success". And remember: a business analyst start working before a project exists and continue working after the project ends. So, all related to Buisness Administration Theory (Porter, Peters, etc) and Systemic Thinking (Bunge, Prahalad, Ackoff) MUST (sorry for the capital letter) be understanding and reading to be successful as well as the Isaac Newton´s Three Laws of Motion that explain all related to change which is your primary reason to be hire as business analyst
