A face to face coaching might be valuable.

You need to have a define Scope in order to deliver the project.

Define Scope is the basic stepping stone for any project, simply stated it is "What you want". Unless you have clarity on scope of works - what are the requirements it is difficult for the contractor and/or supplier to deliver what you want and the pricing thereof.

Before we figure out what will be in the venture's extension, you should be clear about what are the item prerequisites, also called item scope.
When you examine how information gets moved and how business exchanges spill out of one point to another, you are portraying process prerequisites. For instance, the necessities for charging exchanges inside a site, how such exchanges connect to invoicing and accounts, and when can staff see and change the status of requests should be itemized. It obviously abandons saying that for a venture to be conveyed effectively, the right partners from the association appointing the venture must be included personally at different phases of the venture scope. Important PMism .....Deliver What is in scope and only what is in Scope.
Scope comprises of Project scope and Product Scope
Your requirements documentation may define the Product scope based on a number of requirements - Regulatory, Functional, Non Functional , Technical, Performance
Your Project scope needs to define what artefacts are to be delivered by the Project - Solution Architecture, Design , Testing Documentation , Project Management Plan , Support Plan , Data Migration

At the same time, it also needs to define what is OUT OF SCOPE and not to be delivered by your project?

This will then form part of the Project Scope Statement , which when added with the Work Break down structure and the WBS Dictionary will be the Scope Baseline to be signed off by the Project Sponsor . You will deliver Everything and ONLY the things outlined in the scope baseline

You define the Deliverable in "Define Scope", Produce the Required artifacts through "Direct and Manage Project Work", Verify and gain customer acceptance through "Verify Scope"
