Scope is not a Deliverable but why the input of Validate Scope include Verified Deliverable?

In term of Project Scope Management, this process does not produce Deliverable but why the input of Validate Scope include Verified Deliverable?

You need to validate that you are delivering the actual scope!

You have to know first what validate scope is.
Validate scope is to get acceptance.
So after the deliverable is verified by the quality control and passed, you need to ask the customer to accept this deliverable, here where validate scope process play its role.

I keep referring you back to PDCA cycle. The Check step (validate) go back as a input to next steps.
