As a leadership, what should you do when having forming stage of a team? Should we be delegating, supporting, coaching or directing?

As a leader, what should you do when having forming stage of a team? Should we be delegating, supporting, coaching or directing?

Since you mentioned that this is the forming stage of a team, therefore, the team members' roles and responsibilities aren't clearly delineated yet and how the team will work.
As a leader, you have a dominant role to perform at this stage because the team members are still "getting to know each other" and start to work together. You will be providing the direction, support and coaching.
Delegating tasks and responsibilities happens on the next stage--"storming stage."
