Change Management & Communications...

Hi All,

I am recently involved in a large scale project as a member of the change management team.

I'll have to design and present an internal communication plan and strategy for a major reorganisation of the business and IT of a company.

Now, I am quite experienced with the functional consultancy, process reengineering aspects of IT, but not so much on the change management aspects. That's a challenge... I'd like to know if any of you have an idea where I might find an example of such change management plan on the internet.

We are talking about the best way to tackle communications inside the company, training plans, etc... Does any of you knows about the "best practices" or any proven methodologies in this area.

I am well aware that this domain might be less "scientific" than traditional IT project management, but I am sure that some experienced project (and programme) managers has had at least some experience of making a large organisation "swallow" a major IT and organisational change. Thanks to help me out.

Marc.
