We are trying to implement a scheduling guideline policy and need a definition of 'Refinement' and 'Rebaseline'. We could create one ourselves but would like to find something that is already in use or an industry standard. We know the criteria that will justify each definition so that should not be part of the definition. Saving Changes...

Dear Dave, in our scheduling policy we use the following definitions: Refinement - an approved change in the project scope, schedule, or budget. The baseline is not changed and project performance is measured against the unchanged original baseline. Rebaseline - an approved change in the project scope, schedule, or budget. The baseline is changed and project performance is measured against the new baseline. We, too, have criteria for the above definitions. Hope this helps. -- Mark Perry, VP of Customer Care, BOT International Saving Changes...
