Dear Anonymous, good question. Most people view Six Sigma is a process improvement methodology; the output of which are projects which would be managed following a project management process. One way to look at it is, a Six Sigma process improvement effort produces projects; but not all projects in the portfolio are as a result of a six sigma process improvement effort.
