Dear Anonymous, scorecarding is a technique to evaluate a project idea with respect to a number of criteria such as financial return, risk, strategic fit, compliance requirement, etc. The intent is to select the best of competing project ideas in a prescribed manner, rather than via ad hoc approaches. To implement scorecarding, a good place to start is to review the strategic objectives of the company and align your scorecard to those objectives and other helpful criteria.
