Hello everyone. I am an aspiring project manager and I am trying to learn as much as I can whether it'd be from informational interviews to resources online. I am really curious as to what general steps a project manager might do to perform a task.
Would the PM seek out stakeholders that he needs information from?
Does the PM set the meetings?
Does the PM find and select the planning team or is it assigned to the PM?
How does the PM go about doing the work? Does he have different technical functions that he directs? If so, to what extent does a PM need to be involved?
Exactly how often does the PM need to be monitoring the baseline?
These questions might be off and I know I only covered the tip of the iceberg, but I really want to understand the process a practical PM goes through to complete a task start to finish. Saving Changes...
