Hi Waseem,

Free PDU's are available in the webinar section of this website (see link below), but for the certification exam, you still require other education hours (usually in the form of PDU's) that are not likely to be free, as most "project management education" providers that are recognized by PMI, charge a fee.

Waseem,
To pass my PMP, I completed the course PMP Exam Prep: Earn Your PMP Certification by Joseph Phillips on Udemy.com for 35 PDUs - it is a REP certified program. I just looked on the website and it is on sale for $10 for ten hours - that is a 95% discount. In addition to this course I went through Aileen Ellis' book and I passed my PMP exam on the first try. Good Luck!

Joseph did a really great job on that video series/class! I took 2 courses, one of them being Joseph's and I was very impressed. It helped a great deal in me becoming a PMP.

Self learning, that mean for example reading a book. You possibly get the books from a public library.
Just need to report your time at PMI.org

OP, do you have a PMI membership? If so you should be able to use projectmanagement.com's on demand webinars. Best of all they auto report your PDUs for you!

Other than that, the PM Podcast is a great resource. Just make sure you report your PDUs!

Hello Waseem,

since you are talking about "getting qualified for the PMP Exam" i do assume that we are talking about the so called "contact hours" which are need as a PMP application requirement and not about the PDUs which are needed to maintain your already earned PMP credentials, right?

If i am right, the following guide will be helpful for you:

? The Complete Guide to PMP 35 Contact Hours of Project Management Education?

Regards,

Markus

btw: i have recognized that you already signed up for our "PMP Exam prep guidance" program, thank you for that! You will find these infromation there also and in addition you will also find a dedicated section about several methods earning your PDUs after becoming a PMP.

To sit the exam, I am not aware of any free and acceptable hours to meet the 35 hour requirement. If you are PMP certified and need to meet the 60 PDus, consider ProjectManagement.com, Volunteering in our your local chapter and/or contributing learning material to the community.
