My own road to the RMP involved:

1. Re-reading Chapter 11 of the PMBOK Guide and the Risk Management Standard

2. Reviewing a few of Dr. David Hillson's blog articles on RM

3. Signing up for a two month subscription to an exam practice question "pool" and doing lots of questions and a few full practice tests

I found the exam much easier than the PMP but slightly harder than the ACP

IS there different Book for PMI-RMP exam or have to depend on Risk Management from PMBOK only?
Vithal,

You will definitely want to read the Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.

That would be the standard mentioned by Kiron. You will notice that, as a PMI member, you can get a free digital copy of the standard.

I don't want to unnecessarily advocate or promote a specific provider, but the one I used at the time (2011) which I found helpful was pmstar.org. There are many others out there...
