Not quite clear what your question is here bud? You can create multiple resources in most/all scheduling tools and assign multiple resources to an activity.
If you have resource over allocation the first plan is to smooth resources in terms of the activities available float. Simply put the over allocated resourced activity is shifted in time (within available float) to try to lower the requirement.
This is analyzed and if there is still over allocation then it is time to think of re-sequencing if you can or additional resources if available. This is dependent on your cost/labor/space constraints and specific to the activity. Saving Changes...
