Good day to all, If I wanted to manage a tool for risk management in my projects you would recommend me, the company where I work is construction. Thank you for your contributions.
The risks in my concept are of the activities that we must prioritize in our projects, maybe you can help me identify a tool to be able to implement in my company. Saving Changes...

Unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of using a risk management tool in my projects. While we all use Excel spreadsheets for our risk register, it quickly falls apart when you try to manage your risk breakdown structure (RBS) along with all risk-associated actions (mitigation, contingency, fallback).
I hope others in the community have had more opportunity to use some of the risk management tools available.

Hi Eduin,
We use Sharepoint to manage risk. It is quite robust in that it (a) allow assigned team member to add new risks, (b) it assigns a rating number based on the probability of occurrence, probability of detection and the over all impact on project if it should occur. The rating allows the team to focus on the highly rates risk first and then the low rated risks(b) it keeps track of history, mitigation plan and the persons the risk is assigned to (4) it give you the option to mitigate, transfers, close or accept risk.

If it's just organizing risk information for tracking and reporting purposes, Excel, SharePoint or any other type of structured data capture tool will work fine. I'd suggest looking at something which encourages collaboration by all stakeholders as opposed to a standalone register (e.g. Excel file) where only one person can edit content at a time.
If you are looking for something to support quantitative risk analysis, that's a much broader set of tools. Then you'd want tools to run Monte Carlo simulations, decision analysis tools to support sensitivity analysis or generate tornado diagrams and so on.

I used Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis. It's very powerful software and is synced with P6. So, you can input your file from P6.
