PMBOK Sixth Edition Watermarked Stamped

I have just downloaded the Sixth Edition of the PMBOK and find that every page is watermarked stamped diagonally with a very annoying "Not For Distribution, Sale or Reproduction".

It is extremely annoying seeing this when trying to read it...NOT HAPPY

It's not that bad but I understand it can be annoying. Not sure why they wrote it in the middle as long as they have it at the bottom. Maybe for more emphasis.

Well, my opinion is, that it is done very discreetly.

Not so discreet actually. I think it was better just left in the footer only. However Ian, it is a free book provided by PMI and that is the author's condition. You could purchase the commercial version (both PMBOK and Agile Practice Guide) for under $50 as a member of PMI. Even at that price it's a bargain and I am sure no watermark would apply since it's available to both members and non-members.

Incidentally, I can read the pages just fine, and am thankful for this free resource.

I downloaded my PMBOK 6 yesterday and plan to order a hard copy as well. I don't seem to mind the watermark at all. I hardly notice it. I'm planning to read the PMBOK 6 heavily in the next few weeks.

It's a free copy, I don't complain about watermarks, pages or anything. From my point of view, this kind of watermarks are needed in order to avoid people taking screenshots and use it for their own profit. At least making a paper copy requires more effort...

Like Mayte, I put up with the restrictions and watermark since I got it for free - sort of, I guess I had to pay my PMI membership to get it free.

It is the right decision against the people who use the digital file wrongly.
Looking forward to receive the hard-copy version soon.

Although the watermark stamps are there on every page, but it not annoying at all; in fact hardly noticeable. Going by lessons learnt, perhaps it seemed inevitable to do so.

For a clean copy, however, one would need to buy.

Since this edition of PMBoK combines Agile and Project Management practices, this is going to be an interesting read in the coming weeks.
