The use of virtual tools continues to rise. Many tools that are household names now, used to network/meet/manage virtual teams. What assessments do others do, on the vunerability and security of the tools?

With my most recent employer (a large bank), they had multiple governance bodies involved with vetting cloud solutions where sensitive/private/confidential data was going to be stored. Given the industry and the criticality of reputation & trust, there was very little risk appetite for taking chances.
