From my point of view, the PMP has the most value. What is also getting increasingly more important is the CSM certification (Certifified Scrum Master). But the value of certification depends also on the industry you are working in. Agree with Peter. I have also Business Analyses certification but more because I personally like the topic and half of my professional experience is in business analyses. I find it useful for project managers to understand this topic but it's not necessary as long as they have business analysts in their project teams. I agree that it has a lot to do with what you want. I was CSM and CSPO certified but found that employers wanted PMI, so I got the PMI-ACP. Then I moved to a new market, where they like that I have the agile/scrum background, but wanted me to prove that I had fundamental project management knowledge, so I have recently earned a PMP. I think a PMP is probably good for all around, and then get the specialty that's appropriate to your market/interest. Saving Changes...

None. First of all we need to define what does means "useful" for you. If it means that the certification will help you to develop in the market then it will depends on the market you are performing your work. But what really will help you as project manager is to clear understand what a project manager is, to clear understand what a project manager is for stakeholders that are acting into your environment and take lot of ours or practical experience into all the project management domain or some of them. If you are using PMI way to do project management then you can find the domains into related PMP certification documentation. If you are using other then you have to find it into related sites.
