Dear Anonymous, from a business perspective the new Adobe Systems has the opportunity to become a very powerful software company with an excellent, de facto standard, products such as Photoshop and Illustrator which are commonly used in publishing content in the print and web worlds as well as Macromedia's Dreamweaver and ColdFusion products which are essential to building web sites. The combined capabilities of Adobe and Macromedia position them much more effectively against their common worry, Microsoft.
