When I compared two definitions of project vs operation, I perceived that there is another side of nature of both which I might missed the deeply inner meanings. Especially, I am not sure the word "ongoing" here means that activities daily occur repeatively over time, I suppose that it's not really explicit for understanding, because a lot of activities during project life cycle, also repeatively occurs. There is something insufficiently. So may I be wrong thinking? Please correct! Thank you.

As an example, you have the communication process layer as a constant ongoing activity in a project. You have also ongoing activities, but more time-boxed and on a regular repetition based cycle, like Lessons-Learned, quality assessments or re-planning. A single temporary activitiy is the project kick-off. Mentioned examples are not exclusive, but I trust it makes more clear that each project has a mix of all types and there is no "versus" as it is interrelated.

It seems rather simple to me from what i understand of your query. Ongoing are your daily task and temporary endeavor can be your pit stop where you take deviation or taking care of some ad-hoc situations. Examples can be many but important is how you manage them. Ongoing must be taken care by creating a process and keep modifying it time to time based on experience i.e maturing the process. For temporary endeavor one needs to define boundaries in terms of time, man power and cost which will end but becomes a learning. I like the point mentioned by Peter, that every project is mix of all types and there is no "versus". So as seasoned PM's we need to be aware of all situations and assess the project during all phases for risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID).

Organizations start projects to create a product/service/result that will allow them to achieve their objectives by taking an opportunity. Each opportunity has a time frame associated. That is because one of the restrictions for a project is the time. That is what you have to take into account to decide about a project or operations. That is the temporary part of the definition. Project must have an start and end because the opportunity time frame.

While activities might recur periodically over the life of a project, the project itself ends. The use of the term endeavour applies to the overall initiative, not the activities within it.

I love your reply, it made me more deeply understanding of the concept. So even if initiaties, you mean more efforts for thinking of something? Is that also seems a project?
