So many things from which to choose! Do you read the emails, scour the website for topics, take recommendation? What is your best resource for learning about webinars?

I receive frequent emails of what webinars are up coming but if I want to secure a place in a live webinar, I go and check here under Live Webinars whats available and register because sometimes by the time you receive the emails, the registration might be full and it happened to me couple of times.

Ugh! Nothing worse than being closed out. What is great is that we can view webinars (and get PDUs) after the live session!

I receive the upcoming webinar emails, but realistically, I just tend to peruse the aisles to see what is available, or what strikes my interest. Most I watch on demand b/c they fill up so quick - I wonder if timezone has anything to do with that

Andrew,
Like you I scan the emails and register typically right away to ones that have my interest.

I receive emails from various sources - GRC, PECB, BrightTalk, CIPS, ... I register for them even if I can't attend. They will usually send me a link after the event to view the recorded version.

I then block the time in my work week and view them at my convenience.

There are more webinars and knowledge at hand in "Webinars on Demand" than my schedule permits me to watch. I usually filter based on available filters Topics/PMI Certifications/PMI Talent Triangle / Language to find a Webinar that I would like to watch.

I also watch Live Webinars if they fit into my schedule - but prefer the Webinars on demand option - as it gives me an option to watch on my schedule.

The flexibility to query based on need and interest and watch on demand is a nice feature.

Yes, is for that I opened a question about how the community plan the attendance, a few months ago, I was always late for the live webinars!

I find our by the emails that they send. It has been an excellent way for this new practitioner to learn how things work in the real world. I also take advantage of the webinars on demand as needed or to catch up on a topic.
