While I have seen this perspective before, I always find it hard to buy. The % of time a PM will spend on the project varies widely on the project. Is this customer needy? Will they need constant meetings and updates? Is it internal to the company (internal customers) or external (producing something for a customer)? Are there many resources to be coordinated? How many subcontractors or vendors must be coordinated? How tight is the timeframe? All of these thigns play into how much time a PM will spend on a project and how much of the project's time will be PM. I know you were asking for folks to justify your assumption, but wanted to ensure you didn't sell yourself or your company short. Saving Changes...
