Several of us here at the university got caught with this - our membership fees are charged to a state purchasing card, so automatic renewals are not allowed. The university admin person who processed the renewal requests last year did not catch that the default is "auto renew" and that caused us problems this year. I don't see the value (other than perhaps to PMI) of keeping that as a default setting. Saving Changes...
I enrolled in auto renewal (and I should be automatically charged/renewed on June 20). But now I can't register for webinars being held anytime after June 20. I want to turn off the auto renewal and renew myself right now...so that I can start registering for webinars that occur after June 20th. Can anyone advise how to turn this feature off? The auto renewal is default condition, it can be disabled before payment or can be disabled before confirming payment and it is also possible from myPMI dashboard. Saving Changes...

Thank you. I know how to get to my account through my dashboard but cannot find the auto renewal option to turn off. Can you provide some next steps? Saving Changes...

@Natalie - try these steps:
1) Log into PMI.org with your username and password
2) Navigate to myPMI all the way in the upper right (you'll see a drop-down arrow)
3) Click on that arrow and select "Profile and Settings"
4) Once you come to your Profile page - on the left-hand navigation, select "Membership Automatic Renewal"
5) From that page you can turn it off, update your credit card information, manage payments, etc.

Kerry - thank you for the detailed explanation.
We open this discussion topic on 2017, when this was a new feature. I'm happy that Natalie found it useful.
