Wonderful article! The one additional influencer outside of Newton's Laws which we deal with daily when it comes to projects and organizational change is the personality of multiple individuals. Their motivations, emotions and biases can all cause them to act in ways which are not aligned with the Laws.

Thank you very much. And just let me say: i disagree with you in this point: individuals always acting as Newton´s Laws state. In the case you mentioned that is the reaction.

I read it in your blog. I would actually like to read the original Spanish version. Can you point me to it, Sergio?

This implies that we should have a greater ability to predict how people will react to change than we actually do. Perhaps there is some human "dark energy" at play to account for those variances :-).

I'm sure a lot of people would attest to the presence of dark energy in humans.

Now I think I understand your point. Taking the third law we know that an opposite force will be present. But we can not predict the source. Just in case the source is people it could be internal or external. And in that case we need to use additional tools and techniques to all related to understand the opposite force and create an strategy to manage it. In the paper I wrote about some tools and techniques we are using today. So, I agree with you about to know "the how" demands additional work.
