Sometimes I see people holding their boss' wallet or and do other things just to get a promotion. So what do you think about things like that?

Well you have two choices....I would keep working hard and honest (not puppy) then if he doesn't give you reward, change department or change company...Usually dishonest bosses may not last long in company.
Thank you for your help.

Most of the time in our career we reach a point where we have to take a critical decision. The question is to change yourself and follow the usual path of flattering your boss, be afraid to say an opinion and generally be silent in everything you come across. At that point you should ask yourself, Are you ok with that?, take a break and try to figure out where are you going, Are you feeling that you have been respected. Noone can advise you what to do. You and only you, have the chance to make the difference in your life.Trust your instincts and follow your dream, be consistent with your goals and finally, you will succeed.Good luck.
