Employ a 1 WIP (Work In Progress) at a time policy with your team in order to reduce task switching costs. This will help in completing your project on time. I used this with my software development team and it improved our time to market drastically!

Can you expand on your WIP approach, Rebecca? I'm curious at how this works for you.

Hi Rebecca,

I'd be interested as well - What the specific problem was, identified root cause, and the implemented solution.

Rebecca -

Definitely a good practice if you can get buy-in from functional managers and your leadership team is okay prioritizing your projects over all others to enable primary resources to be dedicated to your one project.
