In recent years, many certifications provided by PMI have included optional e-learning courses as part of their offerings. I’m curious whether these training components currently qualify for recognition by the American Council on Education (ACE) for college credit recommendations.
If they are not yet ACE-approved, it might be worthwhile for PMI to explore this opportunity. Gaining ACE approval could add significant value for certification holders, enhancing the appeal of PMI programs by allowing learners to potentially earn academic credit toward degree programs. This would further position PMI as a forward-thinking organization that supports lifelong learning and professional development in a way that aligns with academic advancement.
