Are Project Selection methods part of PMBOK 5th edition now?

Are various comparative, mathematical project selection methods part of PMBOK 5th edition now? Do I need to prepare for it for PMP exam?

Yes - there might be some questions on the PMP exam related to project selection methods. Even those are covered in detail in the PMBOK Guide Sixth Edition and not in the Fifth Edition, remember that the PMP exam uses multiple references beyond the PMBOK Guide as a source of exam questions...
